Our Associate Pastor, Chris Boyle, joined the ministry staff at Arthur EFC in April of 2024. Chris and his family came to us from the suburbs of Dallas, Texas where he spent many years in Full-Time Ministry working with and walking alongside students from Middle School, High School, College and their families. While Chris grew up and spent much of his life in North Texas, his wife Kristin (Johnson) grew up in Odebolt, Iowa and even attended the Arthur EFC from birth through High School with her family before moving away for college.
Fun fact, Chris and Kristin got married in this church on March 10, 2007 during a wonderful service where even friends from Texas made the journey up to help with music and worship during their wedding. Starting their married life in Texas, they went from a family of two to a family of five with the births of son Keagan (2009), son Logan (2010), and daughter Peytin (2013). During the year of 2014 they began to feel that God was calling them to move back to Kristin’s home community to raise their family and find ways to advocate for the spiritual lives of young people within this rural community. And it was after much prayer and discernment they did just that during the bitter cold of February 2015.
Outside of the church, Chris enjoys spending time playing golf, on the banks of local ponds fishing, and along the sidelines coaching multiple youth sports teams that his kids play on. Ultimately though, Chris and Kristin both share a passion for the Gospel, a love for family and engaging students to grow in their own faith through fellowship, Bible study, service, worship and prayer. We are excited to be part of the Arthur EFC ministry family and look forward to what God has in store for this community.
